Giving it a big fat ZERO cross it off your list- it's ruined - the waitress Diane explained that there are new owners who are changing everything, menu, prices, hours and staff so Mary won't be making her breads or muffins anymore!!! Diane made it obvious that she was not happy about the new owners and the way they are "taking over" and making changes, her whole attitude showed it and her service sucked - the other women working yesterday were the ones who brought me water and kept refilling my coffee shes didnt even clear my dirty plate. She kept walking right past me like I wasn't even there and I waited forever to get my check so I could leave, the food was not as good, the service was the worst. We will not go back not with that kind of service - the food was about the same, but the uncomfortable feeling we had ruined our meal.

Just ok, I think they ran out of plates.I ordered the smoked meat sampler with 2 eggs. $11 is way too much. I also ordered the 'homemade corned beef hash' which appeared to be just sliced deli meat tossed with a few potato chunks. $8.25 is waaay too much.Each dish was served in a metal pan which made it like eating out of a tin bowl. Certainly won't be back.

Sam is the best server ever. She was helpful and friendly. Loved the homemade rye toast.

Food was delicious, ordered egg white omelette and biscuits & gravy to die for.

What a delight! I had the nicest cup of coffee with the most delicious warm and fluffy banana nut muffin!

We had a nice meal here. The prices were reasonable and the staff was great. Small place with a great atmosphere. The sandwiches are huge.

I’m local; I’ve tried Eggs Benedict everywhere in this area, Mary’s has THE BEST, especially the hollandaise sauce! Love the pans that food is served on. The service is great and as others stated we are always warmly greeted.

Marys Gourmet Kitchen is awesome! The food is some of the best you will find in the area. When other places are dead. This place is packed...and the staff manages the flow very well. Everyone is friendly, and the view is great too...highly recommend the Hawaiian Chicken and Avacado Sandwich...

Amazing food served in a unique way! Quaint beach atmosphere, the staff and our server Connie were so welcoming and prices are very reasonable. Cannot wait to go back with the rest of the family.

My wife and I come here from Miami for the weekends once a month. The first place we head to is Mary’s for breakfast. We love the family atmosphere. The food is delicious. And, the servers are delightful. Highly recommend. Pro Tip: Get the Nassau Gritz

The orders were all mixed up. The pancakes were not cooked, and finally it appeared the waitress had no idea as to what she was doing or who had what food items. She was so busy running around trying to correct orders that she would not stand long enough to get everything at once. She asked one couple if they wanted coffee and they replied back yes. She then brought them two waters and no coffee!On the positive side, the breakfast meats were good as well as the eggs. We will not be returning though which is a shame since we live in the area.

Eggs Benedict good, Huevos Rancheros flat and tasteless. Don't go through the front door, you will be scolded and told to use the side door. Dina our server was excellent. A definite through back dinner dive experience. Disappointed in the flavorless Tex-Mex breakfast burrito 😟

The pineapple muffin, homemade tomato basil bread, homemade roast beef hash was awesome and serve great, especially Diana. Just snot everything is homemade. Would certainly recommend this place.

Mary's has the very best tomato basil bread. I visit here at least once a month.

Wonderful treasure cafe in Jensen the food is always delicious and fresh. We have been going here as our routine on Saturday or Sun breakfast/brunch and the service is always truly genuinely kind and welcoming. The muffins are best I've ever had in a long time and they grill them slightly adding fresh whipped butter. My boyfriend orders and biscuits and gravy claiming it's best he's had in a long time. Eggs benefit with spinach and bacon was fabulous Definitely best breakfast in Jensen

New owners have destroyed what used to be a great little restaurant. Way overpriced for the quality of food. Wait staff was very good Can not blame them for what the new owners have done.

Mary sold Mary's and has retired. The new owners are changing everything. Many long time favorites have been deleted from the menu, no more fresh baked breads and other baked goods of any kind, the food is changing, portions have definitely changed, and that great flavor Mary instilled into everything is gone. We will no longer frequent this cafe anymore. I wish them luck but do not see a successful future.

I love grits... Mary's Nassau Grits are the Best...

Place was super packed, that's ok. Had a picnic table with an umbrella, and the weather was perfect for it. Went with the family, and every dish we ordered were fantastic. Not one complaint. I can see why it was so busy. Will definitely be going back.

Nothing finer than Mary's Veggie Mac Club!

Our family loves this place. As soon as you arrive you're warmly greeted by staff. The servers are very friendly, outgoing and helpful. The food is fresh and delicious with perfect portion sizes. We all enjoy having our meals served in pans rather than on plates. Try the Veggie Mac Club, it's excellent!

Food was bad and service was terrible. I bring a lot of resort residents to the different restaurants etc. In the area to share my beautiful beach home to many from around the world. I'll never bring another visitor to the place. I even called the place to ask for management to call me. Never received a call. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. McDonald's has better food, and I hate to say that. Dont eat here if you enjoy good food and service.

Came here for breakfast, food was fast and delicious. The baked goods (toast, muffins,cookies) are incredible! Reasonably priced, quiet, and definitely worth coming to!

The muffins, the omelets, the coffee, oh my! They have it all and all of it is great or certainly did look fantastic. We enjoyed omelets and the eggs Benedict. Super friendly staff and great prices!

We love Mary and all the staff. Meals are prepared lovingly and to perfection! We feel lucky to eat there. Everything on the menu is exceptional and breads homemade. Breakfasts are the best. Try the stuffed French toast, pancakes, grilled muffins, corned beef hash, or just eggs. Lunch has great salads, overstuffed sandwiches, vegetarian sandwiches, and don't forget the shrimp and grits. They have been doing specials this Summer that are unbelievably great. Everything there is a treat. From the chefs to the prep to the service, it would be hard to pick a favorite. They are closed Monday and Tuesday during the summer until October . Just go!

Mary's has that home-town feel and their menu has some amazing choices. I tend to order my favorite sandwich, the Veggie Mac Club since I am not much of a meat eater. In addition, I ordered the omelette special and it didn't disappoint! The food is fresh and their homemade breads are delicious. Throw in a friendly staff and you have a must-do go to!

What a little gem of a restaurant!!!! Tried the stuffed french toast. The special flavor was cinnamon raisin. A huge portion of pure deliciousness!! Everyone was very friendly, lots of smiles. You MUST give this place a try.

It is the best! The best Shrimp and Grits ever and all food made fresh. Eggs Benedict are fabulous and the grits are like they should be.
